- Eyewise® Original combines the properties of lutein and zeaxanthin with zinc, vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), and plant extracts from bilberry, blackberry, and grapeseed in a unique, high-performance formula.
An important carotenoid, lutein is naturally found in leafy green vegetables and in marigold flowers, where it protects the plants from excessive sun damage. In a similar way, the body deposits lutein in the macular of the eye. Research now suggests diets low in lutein may lead to diminished levels in the macular.

Our formula delivers 20mg of pure lutein, making Eyewise® Original some of the strongest lutein tablets available in the UK.
Lutein works synergistically with zeaxanthin, another carotenoid, which we've included at 1000µg. Like lutein, zeaxanthin is highly concentrated in the macular of the eye where it plays a critical role in protecting the eyes from light-induced damage. To lutein and zeaxanthin, we've added safe but nutritionally relevant levels of zinc and vitamin B2, both of which contribute to the maintenance of normal vision and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Eyewise® Original also contains the well-known plant compounds provided by bilberry, blackberry, and grapeseed extracts.
We've chosen to formulate Eyewise® Original as tablets instead of capsules. Tablets can accommodate highly concentrated amounts of premium-grade lutein and zeaxanthin, zinc, vitamin B2, and other plant compounds.

What do zinc and vitamin B2 contribute to?
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and the normal function of the immune system. This mineral also contributes to normal skin, nails, and hair.
Vitamin B2, meanwhile, contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and the maintenance of normal mucous membranes. This vitamin also contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Natures best products have always been brilliant. Started taking these as my eye sight fluctuates alot because of fibromyalgia. My eyesight has actually got worse since taking these tablets for a couple of months. Don't know if it's a coincidence or not but I won't be purchasing again.
