Cacoa Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Cacao smoothie bowl

Nothing says dream team more than cacao, banana, and peanut butter. Packed with protein, this smoothie bowl satisfies, satiates, and sustains. Perfect for breakfast, after working out, or whenever you need an afternoon pick-me-up. Top tip: freezing bananas makes smoothies extra creamy and thick, so always keep some to hand in the freezer.


Ingredients (serves 1)

1 frozen banana
1 date (we like Crazy Jack Org Ready to Eat Dates)
1 ½ heaped tbsp. cacao powder (we like Raw Chocolate Cacao Powder)
2 tbsp. smooth peanut butter (we like Meridian Organic Smooth Peanut Butter 100% Nuts)
2 tbsp. hemp seeds (we like Linwoods Shelled Hemp Seed)
1 tbsp. flaxseeds (we like Linwoods Flaxseed With Probiotic & Vitamin D)
1 tsp. chia seeds
200ml oat milk
 

To serve

A handful of granola (we like Bio and Me Fruit Nut Muesli and Raw Chocolate Cacao Nibs)
A drizzle of nut butter
Berries
 

Method

Place all the ingredients in a high-powdered blender and blitz until smooth. Top with granola, berries, and drizzle of your favourite nut butter.
