- Product Information
- The berries from the sea buckthorn plant (hippophae rhamnoides) contain one of the richest sources of omega 7 fatty acids. Our maximum strength, standardised extract Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil 1000mg contains a guaranteed (minimum) level of 27% (270mg) omega 7 fatty acids per capsule.
Omega 7, also known as palmitoleic acid, is a monounsaturated fatty acid found in foods sources such as macadamia nuts, avocado oil and olive oil - but none rival the levels found in sea buckthorn berries.
Palmitoleic acid (omega 7) is specifically found in the soft part of the berry, or pulp, which is why our sea buckthorn oil is made from 100% pulp (a much richer source than the seeds). Using a technically advanced temperature controlled extraction method we’re able to retain the highest level of omega 7, maintaining a premium grade oil.
Sea Buckthorn berries are native to the high altitudes of the Himalayas but can now be spotted growing wild along the east coast of England. Our sea buckthorn berries are sustainably sourced from reliable farms from suppliers who have passed our rigorous vendor checks for quality.
The ocherous berries are also abundant in antioxidants, compounds that support the health of body cells against free radicals - damaging molecules that contribute to the effects of ageing. Sea Buckthorn Oil 1000mg is a popular choice for women over 50 and makes a great partner to Eyewise®.
Our vegan friendly Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil 1000mg comes in an opaque capsule shell as this form is much better suited to oil-based materials and will help preserve the delicate properties of the oil. Our product is almost twice the strength of other brands.

As supplements can take some time to build up and have an effect in the body, we would normally suggest reassessing your symptoms after three months

Tried this hoping to improve my complexion but can’t say I’ve seen any difference at all even though I’ve almost finished them. Definitely no improvement in energy levels either so won’t be repeating

I started taking these supplements a few years ago and at the time they were around £11.00 and they helped improve the strength of my nails.
Unfortunately due to price increases supplements are becoming unaffordable and so I have changed to using organic Chorella which I find not only helps my nails but also hair and overall health and it is more cost effective

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Over time the price of raw materials can go up and whilst we try to absorb as much of this as we can, we sometimes do have to adjust our prices accordingly.
