What is lecithin?Lecithin is a fatty substance found naturally in many plant and animal tissues. It is also a major component of human cell membranes and is particularly abundant in the brain and liver.
Once in the body, lecithin is broken down into choline, choline is a precursor of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that plays a crucial role in the central nervous system.
Lecithin is our primary source of dietary choline. Dietary sources include soy beans, eggs, red meat and cooked green vegetables.
Lecithin is also an important component of bile, which is secreted into the digestive system to help with fat digestion and transport and energy utilisation and liver functioning.

Why is ours better?
Our high-strength formula provides an impressive amount of pure soya lecithin in easy to swallow, taste-free capsules, a convenient way to take lecithin ‘on the go’. If you struggle swallowing traditional capsules or tablets, you may wish to try our Lecithin Granules, which you can sprinkle on cereals or use in cooking.
Sustainably sourcing our raw materials is hugely important to us. We source our Soya Lecithin extract from 100% non-GM soybeans. Before being manufactured and packaged in UK factories working to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), our non-GM soybeans receive stringent quality checks, ensuring they meet the strictest EU regulations on contaminants.
