Derived from tiny plant organisms known as microalgae, which is where fish obtain their omega 3s, this animal friendly source effectively cuts out the middle-man (or fish!). The algae used in our Vegan Omega 3 is cultivated in a controlled environment, ensuring an integrated and sustainable supply (independent of marine biomass), which is also naturally free from contaminants. It can take up to 24 months to source fish oil, algal oil however, can be cultivated, grown and purified into a nutritional oil within 28 days. By reducing the supply chain time, we can guarantee the freshness and strength of the omega 3 content.

We suspend our Vegan Omega 3 formula in pure sunflower oil, together with the antioxidant’s rosemary extract and natural mixed tocopherols, to help preserve the properties of our algae oil.
