Vitamin C plays an important role in the immune system and helps protect cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. It’s also widely known for supporting collagen formation for the regular function of cartilage, the tough tissue that lines the surfaces of joints.

Our high-performance Vitamin C as Ascorbic Acid – the scientific name for vitamin C – is the most economical way to supplement vitamin C and is from a non-GM source. It’s also the easiest to use; it can be added to drinks where it’s fast dissolving. Vitamin C powders are a popular choice for those who find tablets difficult to swallow or require large amounts of vitamin C.

Once stirred into water, our vitamin C powder becomes a refreshing, smooth-tasing liquid, with a similar sharp taste to acidic fruits. You can also sprinkle it on food.

We always recommend that anyone supplementing with high intakes of vitamin C should divide their intake into several small doses throughout the day. This minimises the risk of gastric upset and, importantly, helps to ensure that blood levels remain stable.

Our vitamin C products are made in UK factories working to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to meet our strict quality standards.

Our vitamin C powder is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

What does vitamin C contribute to?

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin, and teeth.

It also contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, the normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function, and the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E.

Aside from this, it contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Adults: Take 1 to 2 grams daily. 1/4 teaspoon = 1 gram.
Children aged 10 years and over: Take 1/8 teaspoon daily = 500mg.
Do not exceed recommended daily dose.
This Vitamin C is most effectively absorbed when taken with food. It can easily be stirred into drinks (kids won't notice!), taken with water or sprinkled onto food. Powders are particularly useful for those who wish to take large amounts of vitamin C, or those who find tablets difficult to swallow.
Food supplements should not replace a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
